Are you taking advantage of one of your most valuable resources?












The internet can be a very valuable tool for marketing your business and communicating with clients and can provide you with a wealth of resources. However, I have found that many people are not taking advantage of all of these resources. It is very easy to get caught up in the day to day operations of your business and working to maintain your current client base. What I am asking you to do is to think about what would happen if those clients went away? Where would new clients come from?

Think of the internet as being an additional employee that works full time behind the scenes to help promote your business, but they cannot work for you unless you give them things to do. You need to consider incorporating some of the components listed below into some of the things you may already be doing. Every company is different and therefore the way that you use the internet will be different depending on your specific needs.

Be sure that your website has a modern look and up to date information.
Social Media
Encourage client feedback and comments by posting on social media on a regular basis.
Email Marketing
Send out an email marketing campaign to all your current and prospective clients to keep them informed.
Create an ongoing dialogue with your clients by giving them content they want to read.
Online business directories
Register your business with these directories so that you can be found in an online search.
